Terms

Terms of use

These terms cover reading the public site and publishing a programme with an account. Last updated 2 October 2026. Questions go through the contact form.

Reading the site

You may read published programmes and the guides for your own concert-going. Do not misuse the service: do not try to break into an account, overload the site, or send junk through the forms.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your login. Keep the password and any passkey to yourself. Register the account for yourself or for the ensemble you are actually publishing for.

What you may publish

Publish text, names, and images you have the right to use. Do not paste notes, photographs, or scores from somewhere else unless you have permission. A programme should describe a concert. Do not publish material that is unlawful, that impersonates another ensemble, or that is unrelated to a concert programme.

A published programme is public. Anyone with the link can read it, and it may appear in the library. You can return it to draft, or delete it, from your account. The address stops working for the public when it is unpublished or deleted. We may unpublish or remove a page that breaks these terms, infringes someone's rights, or puts the service at risk. If you need something taken down, use the contact form.

Whose material

The guides, the site design, and the SymphonicBase name are ours. Concert text and images remain with the ensemble that supplied them, subject to the rights they hold.

Advertising and availability

We may show one labelled third-party ad, served by Google AdSense, on a concert page that has a real programme. Choosing an ad leaves this site under that advertiser's own terms. We aim to keep a published page available on the night, and we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features of the editor can change. The guides describe the site as it works today.
