What SymphonicBase publishes

SymphonicBase is a public library of digital concert programmes, and the tool an ensemble uses to publish one. The page you open from a QR code in the hall is the leaflet: the works, the notes, and the people on stage.

What you can read here

Each concert is one address. The page carries the title, a short description, the order of the evening, notes on the pieces, the ensemble, biographies the presenter wants you to have, the player roster, and the acknowledgements. Traditional Chinese and English are the same concert. The language control swaps the wording and stays on that page. You do not need an account, and you do not install an app.

Published programmes are listed in the library. A concert does not have to vanish when the printed leaflets are recycled. If the ensemble later unpublishes the page, it leaves the library.

Who writes the notes

The presenting ensemble writes the programme. SymphonicBase does not commission notes, rewrite them, or sell tickets. We provide the format, the hosting, a stable link, a QR code, and bilingual presentation. Programme text and photographs stay the ensemble's, and they are responsible for having the right to publish them.

How a page is maintained

An organiser drafts the concert, fills the sections, and publishes when the order and the names are ready. The public address does not change. If a piece is swapped after the general rehearsal, they edit the same page. The next person who opens the link, including someone who already has the QR code, sees the correction. That is the practical difference from a leaflet printed last week.

We update the reading guides when the way a page works changes. If an organiser or a rights holder asks us to correct or remove a page, write through the contact form and we will deal with that request.

What this site is not

It is not a ticket office, a streaming service, or a review magazine. Seats and start times belong to the presenter and the venue. For how to read a page in the hall, and for what an organiser should put in a note, use the guides.
